January 10, 2021 - Book of Acts - Believers of one heart and soul

Dear friends and family,

In the Book of Acts, Luke describes Christians as believers of one heart and soul who share everything “in common.” It's a picture of genuine “fellowship” or “communion.” To be in communion is far more than holding common beliefs or goals. It entails practical matters like sharing money, possessions, and resources with one another. The first Christians shared sacrificially ("selling their belongings"), responsively ("as any had need"), and voluntarily ("each one"). As a result, their hearts were glad and generous, and the Lord "added to their number day by day." (Acts 2:42-47)

This is the empowered community God desires for us. And its impossible for us to enjoy this kind of life without the fellowship and worship of the church. That's why I invite you to join us in worship this Sunday!

In Christ's love,

Pastor Randy
