January 3, 2021 ~ A New Year

A New Year:

Many of us are looking forward to ringing in 2021. Certainly, this past year has been different than we expected when we first welcomed 2020 last January, which brought difficulties and changes we never imagined. For many, it has been a year of loss and grief.

Yet, there were good things to come out of this year: a greater awareness of the need for the dismantling of systemin racism; a new appreciation of the faithful dedication and service of our first responders and medical professionals; a deeper understanding of the value of family and relationship; to name a few.

As a congregation, we are in a time of pastoral transition as you begin your time in ministry with Rev. Randy Working and his wife Evelyne. I am absolutely certain that you will show them the same support and love that you have shown my family.

It has been my great blessing, joy, and privilege to have served as your pastor. I will never forget the kindness, the love, the prayers, and the countless examples of living faith that you have offered.

Thank you.

With love,
