“bells are the voice of the church.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once wrote that “bells are the voice of the church.”
The sound awakens memories. The church bell is a sound that can bring a feeling of comfort, a sense of community, most of all, it reminds us to put away the worries of the world and look into our soul, our true connection with God, to praise Him and be thankful for his graces upon us.
Joining the community in the 8pm Howl, church elders have been ringing the church bell as a thank you and support of our health care workers and the many others for their service in keeping the world running, with services and supplies, medication and care.
